Eunoa is not meant to hold on to you. It is meant to help you finish a thought — and then lead you back to people.
Why it exists
Most things are unsorted before they are sayable. The step from a diffuse feeling to a sentence you can send someone is the hard one — and there is rarely a place for exactly that which wants nothing from you.
Eunoa is that place: no account, no history to maintain, no grading. What comes out of it is yours, and it sits on your device.
The rules the app holds itself to
- Ask more than advise. Many questions, rarely a recommendation. The sorting is the work — not getting an answer.
- Toward people, not away from them. Where it fits, a conversation ends with a concrete sentence you can send to a real person.
- Allowed to end. A conversation moves toward a close. The app measures no time-in-app and rewards none.
- No diagnoses. No findings, no medical advice, no treatment — not even implied.
- Collect nothing that isn't needed. There are no conversation transcripts on the server, because there is no need for them.
Who is behind it
Eunoa is built and run by one person: Zino Diem. No company, no investor, no advertising partners.
That also explains the pace: replies to enquiries usually take a few working days, not minutes.
Languages
The app comes in German and English — interface and replies. Both versions are written independently rather than translated line by line, so the tone holds in each language.
Emergency numbers follow your country, not your language: someone using English in Germany gets German numbers with English labels.
The name
“Eunoia” is an ancient Greek word for goodwill — the kindly disposition you bring to someone you are listening to. That describes fairly precisely what the app should do and what it should not: be turned toward you, without judging and without mistaking itself for a professional.
